The Trauma CCU project was a 9,000 sq. ft. complete renovation and a 1,500 sq. ft. addition on the 1st Floor of the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital. The new space consists of (12) state-of-the-art patient rooms and associated support spaces. The addition consisted of increasing the floor plate over top of the operating loading dock. HVAC infrastructure upgrades included a new air handler and significant modifications to the existing HVAC system. The project was completed within a 10-month schedule.
