The 17,100 SF Emergency Department at St. Michael’s Medical Center was the fourth phase in an overall five phase Master Plan of the Hospital’s existing space.

The new expanded Emergency Room includes 2 Trauma Rooms, 24 state-of-the-art patient bays, CT Room, X-Ray Room, as well as new patient entrance,
waiting room and medical offices. The earlier phases included a group of
structural canopies and new driveways for the visitor and ambulance drop-off areas.
