Wm. Blanchard Co. served as Construction Management support for this project which is located in the heart of the Bronx in New York City. The foundation was a hybrid system consisting of 12” diameter micro piles drilled into the bedrock and the balance built as conventional spread footings on rock.

It is a 6 Bay, 6 level precast parking garage involving the challenging logistics of trucking in over 600 pieces of precast in a very tight urban environment.

All of the work was done directly adjacent to the existing hospital and required no interference with the day to day operations of the facility.
