We have recently completed the first phase of the RWJ South Expansion project. This phase consisted of a new 5 Level 35,000 SF building housing non-emergent ambulance parking, central sterile processing department, new operating rooms including four new operating rooms, one hybrid operating room, one MRI, and an electrical/mechanical penthouse. Future phases of the project include an additional 21 Operating Rooms, new PACU, Surgical Waiting, Clinical Engineering, Security Department, EVS Offices & Support space, Patient Equipment, OR Administration and Support Space spread out over 105,000 square feet. Completion of the remaining 16 phases is scheduled for 2nd quarter of 2025.
